About Caylin Capra-Thomas
Caylin Capra-Thomas is an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at 糖心原创. Her first poetry collection,聽Iguana Iguana聽(Deep Vellum), was named a Best New Poetry Book for Adults by the New York Public Library. Her poems and creative nonfiction essays have appeared widely, including in聽Georgia Review, Copper Nickel, New England Review, Pleiades, Mississippi Review, and her scholarship has appeared in the聽T. S. Eliot Studies Annual. She has received support for her writing from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Studios of Key West. The 2018-2020 Poet-in-Residence at Idyllwild Arts Academy, she is presently finishing a PhD in English and creative writing at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
